Abstract

The article presents etiological factors of iatrogenic character enabling maxillary sinusitis onset as well as its pathogenesis, clinical course features, and contemporary diagnosis. Surgical operative modalities were compared, and tactics of patient management in rehabilitation period was described. The necessity to work out novel methods of complex treatment and rehabilitation for patients with maxillary sinusitis was substantiated.
