Psychopathological structure of anorexia nervosa implies abnormalities of behavior as well as those of motivation and volition, thinking, perception and appreciation. In addition, mental abnormalities typical for this disorder are evident in regulation of emotions, specific personality traits and self-consciousness. The key psychopathological feature of patients with anorexia nervosa is a lack of cognitive and personal differentiation that calls forth impairments of self-concept and self-image. Anorexia nervosa should be differentiated from depression and schizophrenic spectrum disorders. Its etiology and pathogenesis are related both to hereditary and psychosocial factors. Of great importance are psychoendocrine abnormalities, however their role is still insufficiently elucidated.</p>
Большое значение имеют психоэндокринные нарушения, однако их роль остается мало изученной.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>anorexia nervosa, mental disorders, personality disorders, cognitive impairment, psychoendocrinology</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>нервная анорексия, психические расстройства, расстройства личности, когнитивные нарушения, психоэндокринология</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>1.
