The pulse oximetry test was considered positive with SaO2 &lt; 95% in any extremity and the difference between the right hand and foot of above 3%.</p><p>Results: The pulse oximetry test was positive in all neonates with transposition of the great arteries (n = 5), hypoplastic left heart syndrome (n = 6), total anomalous pulmonary venous collection (n = 2), common arterial trunk (n = 3), pulmonary artery atresia with ventricular septum defect (n = 1). The pulse oximetry test was non-informative in those with obstructive abnormalities of the left heart, such as aortic valve stenosis and aortic coarctation.</p><p>Conclusion: The pulse oximetry test can be used for routine screening for complex and critical congenital heart defects in neonates.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Актуальность. Пульсоксиметрический тест может быть использован как метод рутинного скрининга на сложно-комбинированные и критические врожденные пороки сердца периода новорожденности.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>critical congenital heart disease</kwd><kwd>diagnostics</kwd><kwd>pulse oximetry test</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>критические врожденные пороки сердца</kwd><kwd>диагностика критических врожденных пороков сердца</kwd><kwd>пульсоксиметрический тест</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>1.
